While most of our activity focuses on our one-of-a-kind E-File, our roots are firmly based in the world of list broking. While our portfolio of data suppliers has been reduced due to an unfortunate combination of buy-outs, closures and (more recently) compromised data quality, we have retained strong partnerships with the leading B2B data suppliers still in operation as well as a selection of high quality trade publishers.

From these varied sources we have multi-channel access to a wide variety of decision maker contacts in both the Private and Public sectors. Despite on-going difficulties, tele-marketing is still proving an effective medium for many sectors and, despite concerns it had passed its peak, emailing remains a highly popular channel in the world of direct marketing, while the traditional postal mailing is actually experiencing an unexpected resurgence.

Regardless of your preferred channel, obtaining the correct data remains fundamental to achieving marketing objectives and sales targets.

The very limited sources of good quality off-the-shelf data open up exciting possibilities for bespoke list building. Free from the restrictions and conditions of third party lists, a custom built prospect file should provide contact names not listed commercially and therefore not being targetted by competitors!

While ‘Job Function’ is a reliable industry standard selection criteria, not every product and service can be so comprehensively matched to it and a more targetted approach is needed.

The popular opinion that the phone is largely redundant in the world of sales and marketing is routed in the misguided fixation on ‘cheap, fast and easy’…and rarely is anything of high quality when it is any of those things. We strongly recommend picking up the phone in order to secure the most up-to-date prospect data if the required contacts are not readily available off-the-shelf from a reliable source.
